| Keeping the best of the past The architectural style of the old College is intriguingly eclectic and is now Grade ll Listed. The original buildings, designed by EW Mountford, combined Dutch, French and English Renaissance flavours, and were considered innovative for their day. The Great Hall was built in 1899 (and rebuilt in 1950); the magnificent Tate Library in 1910. Over time, various other buildings have been added. At Kingsway Square, our intention is to conserve and create new life for the Listed buildings, and to add to the development with sympathetically designed new apartment buildings. All of the existing buildings of merit will be sensitively refurbished, mainly for residential purposes. Refurbished or newly built apartment? Choose your apartment here. |
